    I'm from Jamaica and i know this as jumbilin. I have made this stew before but with brown sugar and it turned a deep dark purple/red on its own. Love this stuff.

    Hi mng.. in the Virgin Islands gooseberry or cherry stew. Doesnt the cherry turn a natural reddish color while boiling?

    I call it series and some of my friends in my country laughed, cause they call it sour cherries but I grew up running in the shop asking for series
