She aromatically said it with no remorse in the moment. it is obviously a part of her regular vocabulary

I'm not making excuses for her or anyone else: Being desensitized to a word happens very easily depending on location and background. Words can be in ones vocabulary, it's just not going to be used or expressed until that person is under certain experienced stress where it's been expressed by others or ones self, and in this instance she was. It's simple psychology.

I don't think she is playing the victim. She is owning up to her mistake and forwarding a wide spread apology.

Kathleen, you are doing your best to fix your wrongs and that's more then a lot of other people can do. I'm personally proud of you, I support you, And I hope you are safe through this storm and the hurricane.

when black folks rap nigger in their songs and the whites sing along to it….and then it is suddenly wrong.
where do you think non black people hear nigger from? kathleen wasnt targeting black people. she was using the word in substitute for bitch or dude. yes it was stupid but what she says in private should not concern us. everyone is allow to swear and vent and let go in private.
jaclyn hill needs to stop drinking and wake up.

something interesting, If you go to YouTube social blade Kathleenlights is making more money from YouTube than Jaclyn hill now I know Kathleen should not have said it but cant help but wonder if Jaclyn got the drinks rolling and then decided to snapchat for some interesting dirt if it came up. My opinion only.We all make mistakes I am sure they both wish they had not been drinking while filming or doing a collab.probably not a good idea from now on.

People are fucking stupid for hating on y'all about this. I do the same thing, use the word around people in comfortable with, and even my black friends are okay with that. We have discussed it a few times actually.

If it is such an offensive word then how about everyone stop using it; not just people who are not African American. Such a double standard to be honest. It's Ok for your favorite rappers, artist, or people in movies to say it but when someone is saying it while playing a video not intentionally talking to a direct person it is an issue! People are so funny these days! Making everything about race. If it is such an offensive word because of the history behind it then African Americans shouldn't use it so freely either.

Michelle Kennedy. Im not advising you about anything. I just added my 2 cents worth to this discussion. You have every right to feel whayever you feel.

I expect every white person to forgive Kathleen . why not ? She didn't and couldn't have offended you personally . It's not about you. So stop telling other ppl who could've gotten offended to get over it when it's not doing harm to you personally.

Lol mostly white females everywhere I go sticking up for poor KL! And think it's a bigger deal that JH posted. Business is business, if these were big wigs of Estee launder and L'Oréal rolling around saying it, would it be OK?
